Leah Lesser is the Senior Manager of Marketing Communications at
Emerson Health, an independent community health system based in Concord, MA, with clinical affiliations to Mass General Brigham. Known as the health system's storyteller, Leah leads the creation of compelling content that highlights the voices of patients, providers, and the community. She plays a pivotal role in shaping Emerson Health’s external marketing strategy, driving lead generation, communications, and media stories across the greater Boston area.

Emerson's consumer magazine that is mailed to 180,000 homes twice a year, monthly Health Works ENews that is distributed to 100,000, and Health Works Here 80+ episode podcast. Babson College and a BA in Communications and Sociology from Simmons University. Prior to joining Emerson, she specialized in marketing and media relations for consumer technology and education organizations.
In addition to her role at Emerson Health, she serves as the co-chair of this year’s NESHCo conference and is a member of the NESHCo Board. She enjoys reading medical memoirs and adventuring with her family, including her two daughters who are pursuing careers in medicine.
